Professional Organizer Gives Free De-Cluttering Workshop at Westlake Village Library

CALABASAS, CA, Julie Harvey, President of Corganize, Inc., will be presenting a free organization workshop, “Get Your Mind Out of the Clutter” on May 12, 2009, at the Westlake Village Library (31220 Oak Crest Drive, Westlake Village, CA) from 11:00 a.m. -12:30 p.m. This fun and innovative workshop will teach participants simple tricks and tactics to de-clutter their home, business or favorite space. This workshop is free and open to the
community.

About Julie Harvey
While other children her age were climbing trees and watching cartoons, Ms. Harvey was making “Shirts” and “Pants” labels for her closet with a marker and masking tape. Ms. Harvey’s passion for creating order out of chaos has only increased over time. Her background includes over 16 years working as a youth specialist in the non-profit sector,
along with extensive administrative and organizational experience. Ms. Harvey was awarded U.S. Congressional Recognition in 2008 from Congresswoman Grace Napolitano for her volunteer work with Braswell Rehabilitation Institute for Development of Growth and Educational Services (B.R.I.D.G.E.S., Inc.), and Professional of the Year 2008
from Cambridge Who’s Who.

A product of Dallas Theological Seminary, Ms. Harvey earned her Master’s Degree in Education in 1997. She also received a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from National University in 1995. Her professional affiliations include the National Association of Professional Organizers (N.A.P.O.) both nationally and locally, as well as the Thousand Oaks-Westlake Village Regional Chamber of Commerce.
