“I was pleasantly surprised by the turnout”, says Salma Dola of Fisher Wrathall, as the function room at the Royal Station Hotel, Carnforth had filled to standing room only.

The firm had recommended four properties to its auction, including a house from Sue Bridges Estate Agents that sold prior to the auction.  The three other lots all sold with the piece of agricultural land at Burton-in-Kendal seeing intense bidding, pushing the Guide Price of £20,000 to a selling price of £54,000 for 4.3 acres.

“It just goes to show what interesting properties set at realistic prices can achieve”, says Fisher Wrathall’s Mark Walker.
