Venezuelan singer/actor, Jonathan Montenegro leaves XM2 & Batalla de las Americas
Due to Jonathan’s continued success as an actor and extremely busy schedule, combined with an inability to reach a financial agreement with WorldVibe, the company has decided to amicably release Jonathan from any contractual obligations.
“Although he only spent a short time in the group Menudo, we chose Jonathan because of his popularity as an actor in Venezuelan novelas,” says Roy A. Sciacca, producer of Batalla de las Americas.
Due to Jonathan’s continued success as an actor and extremely busy schedule, combined with an inability to reach a financial agreement with WorldVibe for his participation in Batalla de las Americas, WorldVibe has decided to amicably release Jonathan from any contractual obligations and immediately search for Jonathan’s replacement in XM2.
Producer Mario Rivera says, “The search is on and we are currently interviewing three ex-Menudo’s who are eager to join Rawy Torres and Sergio Blass in the band XM2. We’re all excited to find out who it will be. The new member will be officially announced on May 1, 2009.”
