Umer Ashraf to pit his wits against children’s team!

Lifestyle Entrepreneur Umer Ashraf has taken on a televised challenge pitting his skills against a team of children.

He is joined by Rebecca Philipson, the director of In the Paper, based in Weardale, County Durham, and Claire Glynn of Atomic Web Solutions, on Tyneside,

All three will appear as the Big Shots team on BBC’s Beat the Boss this week taking on the Bright Sparks children’s team.

The two teams each have to create a product that will appeal to the children’s market.

At the end of each episode, a panel of children vote for their favourite product.

The Big Shots team filmed in the North-East for two days, then travelled to the BBC in London for the final day’s filming.

The 30-minute show will be shown at 5.15pm this Thursday (19.03.09) on the CBBC channel.
