March 21, 2009 - PRLog -- NYMMG (Model Management Group, MMG), a New York-based modeling and talent management agency, continues to establish it’s Celebrity Division as one of the one’s to beat in NYC.  The recent exclusive signing of Amy Karwoski who, under MMG’s direction, became a Ford Model at age seventeen, and then went off to walk the runways in Paris, once again proves that New York’s Top Model Actresses have found a comfortable home at New York’s MMG, a company that specialize in managing the beautiful people, for modeling, television and film. Amy joins a highly select group of very talented model actresses who have joined MMG’s Celebrity Division after being on high rated reality based shows such as America’s Next Top Model, Momma’s Boy and ABC’s True Beauty.  So, far the demand has been non-stop for MMG’s Celebrity Division. Leading the way has been the ever popular Dawn Richard of the Platinum selling female group Danity Kane, created during Season 2 & 3 of Making The Band. MMG’s receives at least two offers per week for Dawn to be part of a new show. Also attracting major attention  is Cycle 11’s Sheena Santana.  Sheena already has successfully starred in a new pilot and also receives weekly requests to participate in new programming. It is also rumored that MMG is also expected to pick up some of this years American Idol finalists as soon as their contracts permit.

Amy’s addition to MMG’s celebrity division is an exciting one because  In any prior generation Amy’s accomplishment’s would have made her an instantaneous supermodel. However, today supermodels are born on Television not the runways in Paris. For Amy that won’t be a problem. Beautiful and talented as ever Amy is not only an accomplished model but she also is a wonderful actress as well. Amy can be seen in several Guiding Light episodes and also on NBC’s SNL in a Natalie Portman Short. Amy will grace the television screens with the same beauty and poise she demonstrated on the Paris runways.

Amy was discovered by MMG after competing at I.M.T.A. MMG then placed her with Ford Models-New York and then with Success Agency in Paris.  MMG is very excited to be representing her exclusively for the next three years.
