Coral Ridge Hour Broadcast Warns on March 22 of Threat to Free Speech, Religious Freedom from “Hate Crime” Legislation



FORT LAUDERDALE, FL. (March 18, 2009) –The Coral Ridge Hour, the nationally televised weekly broadcast from Coral Ridge Ministries, warns on Sunday, March 22, that federal “hate crime” legislation threatens to strip Americans of their free speech rights and peel away their religious liberties.  http://www.coralridge.org/medialibrary/default.aspx?mediaID=CRH0912_F



“If we look at . . . what has happened in each country that has passed hate crime laws, in every country, without exception, they have morphed into ‘hate speech’ regulations,” constitutional attorney Craig Parshall says on the program. Also, more often than not, “the targets have been outspoken Christians . . .”



Parshall’s wife, Christian radio personality Janet Parshall, also appears on the broadcast. Additional featured experts include Kerby Anderson, host of the radio program Point of View; and attorneys Matt Barber and Mat Staver of the Liberty Counsel.
