March 18, 2009 - PRLog -- Joe Monahan, Associate AIA and Jeffrey DiRomaldo, Project Managers with BartonPartners Architects Planners Inc. have earned their Certified Green Professional (CGP) status through the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Mr. DiRomaldo and Mr. Monahan are the first staff members at BartonPartners to achieve CGP status. The firm also has six LEED Accredited Professionals.

Mr. DiRomaldo and Mr. Monahan are passionate in their support of sustainable architecture, efficient building technologies and systems, and environmentally sound construction practices - ideals which are reflected in an increasing proportion of BartonPartners' work for its residential and commercial developer clients. The firm is pleased to be able to offer clients a choice of green rating systems.

Jeff DiRomaldo of Springfield, PA has been involved in design and development of residential and mixed-use projects in the mid-Atlantic region, including adaptive reuse, urban infill, historic renovation, townhomes, and condominiums. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Lehigh University in 1995, and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Drexel University in 2007.

Joe Monahan of Philadelphia, PA has been involved in design and development of residential projects in several northeastern states, including adaptive reuse, active adult, seniors housing, condominiums, single-family and townhomes. As Project Manager, Joe works directly as the "middle man" between clients and BartonPartners staff to ensure the project represents the client's vision. Mr. Monahan pursued his CGP designation to offer clients an alternative to the LEED rating system. He is a 2007 graduate of Drexel University and holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree.
