National Conference Accepting Nominations

March 17, 2009 - PRLog -- KINGSTON, ON –Your Workplace is accepting nominations for our Top 10 Places Where Employees Thrive awards and the Power of Inclusion award.

The Top 10 Places Where Employees Thrive awards are aimed at organizations that have created a dynamic and creative workplace by establishing a culture built on collaborative dialogue, trust, clear outcomes, tolerance, and teamwork.

Eligible organizations have created environments where workers feel their input and effort is valued and respected, and where innovation and contribution to improving workplace culture are motivated by leadership and management with input from personnel at every level.

Nominees for the Power of Inclusion award are committed to the belief that the work world can be a better place for everyone, and they have contributed greatly to improving the workplace experience for Canadian workers.

The Power of Inclusion award winners are chosen for their outstanding contribution to an environment where we all belong. This award will recognize professionals, teams and organizations from the public and private sectors who have made a difference toward significantly improving the health and well-being of the Canadian workplace.

Your Workplace proudly hosts this award, and the nomination and adjudication process is jointly handled with Diversity! in the Workplace.

Award winners will be revealed at the Your Workplace Conference on May 1st, 2009 in Ottawa.  The deadline to submit a nomination form is April 3, 2009 for the Top Ten Where Employees Thrive awards, and April 10, 2009 for the Power of Inclusion award.

Taking place over three days at the world-class Westin Hotel in Ottawa, the Your Workplace Conference features dynamic keynote speakers, more than 25 learning sessions, opportunities to network and exchange ideas toward healthier workplaces, and an engaged and productive workforce.
