Vision 2009 ! We have spent the better part of the last three years working on the specific development of our new Planogram and Data Management Platform. Well, we've not only met our deadline, but added a lot more than we expected along the way.
 
March 16, 2009 - PRLog -- Upon the aquisition of JDA's IKB Database tool in 2005, we knew we had a great opportunity ahead of us. The software industry had now begun to catch up to a lot of the basic offerings we had already been giving our clients through our own self-developed programs and procedures. This news offered us some positive as well as negative reactions. On one hand, now anyone with enough money could go out and purchase a piece of software that seemed to be more than they'd ever need, this could have hurt our potential client base. Our concern was, even though we knew better, that retailers would not see the need for our services if they could duplicate it with the right software.
Although we knew our offerings continued far beyond the reachings of any software, we did not want an unfair comparison. What to do? Substantially increase our offerings to a level far beyond the capabilities of anything we've seen available to retailers out there.
VISION 2009 - was dedicated solely to this process. We have now successfully converted all of our current clients to the new platform, and are getting awesome feedback from clients as well as our own personnel.

*  Fast Loading Image Database - now over 80% fully imaged planograms for all existing clients

*  Gross Profit Margin and Return on Investment Reports - Completely redesigned, More Accurate, Store Specific as well as Corporate Averages. These reports alone justify our cost of doing business.

* New Extreme Category Management Case Studies. - some information available immediately, however the in depth research is more readily available. - bottom line... we can deliver a more comprehensive, complete study in the amount of time it took before to do a simple study.

** New Inventory Control and Demand Planning Reporting.

** New Item Force Out and Deleted Item Reporting.

** PcAnywhere Merchandising sessions - to keep travel costs to a minimum.

** Customisable Reports, Services, and Procedures - much easier to accomodate now.

** Tag Files and Store Order Boards created in less than 10-15 minutes now (used to take 3-4 hours of processing time.


The Speed and accuracy we are able to produce now allows us to spend more quality time with each client determining gameplans, scheduling re-sets, reviewing and analyzing Categories for full re-sets, and just knowing our business better and how to help everyone we work with make more money, even in a softened economy.

A Current Retail Partner of ours in the North Carolina area with more than a dozen specialty food stores, was seeing the effects of the recessed economy due to decreased sales. After a few conference calls, we were able to determing exactly how to re-gain and even grow their profits. Using our new PSI Enhanced Platform we:

  * Determined the potential ROII for each Category within each Store.
  * Compared current inventory scorecards to the 'potential' scorecards (35% or better    increases in ROII average)
