InfoWorld Gives Talend Open Studio a Perfect 10 for Value

March 13, 2009 - PRLog -- LOS ALTOS, Calif. - December 18, 2008 - Talend Open Studio scored a perfect 10 for value in a review by the InfoWorld Test Center, part of a 9.0 out of 10 overall rating by one of the world's best regarded technology publications. InfoWorld said Talend Open Studio 3.0 “makes an excellent choice for data integration” because of its low barrier to entry, broad reach via Java and Web services, and highly distributable architecture.

InfoWorld's review examined Talend Open Studio in six categories: capability, ease of development, documentation, performance, setup and value. Talend earned high marks across all areas, impressing InfoWorld with data integration features such as batch delivery, transforms, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) functions, data governance and a strong set of connectivity adapters. The review also commended Talend Open Studio for being “capable of scaling from small departmental file migrations to large-scale enterprise warehousing projects,” and praised features recently introduced, including a native SAP connector, change impact analysis, and a ecosystem of components and connectors for community sharing.
