March 13, 2009 - PRLog -- Sheboygan, WI, Im Hungry™ has quickly become a staple of Sheboygan and surrounding cities offering delivery service of restaurant prepared meals to your home, business or hotel. Finally, your favorite restaurant delivers; Al & Al's Stein Haus, Big Apple Bagels, Brisco County Wood Grill, El Camino, Frankie's Pub & Grill, The Grotto, Highland House, Jalisco's, Schwarz Fish Market and Sheboygan Brat Days (July 30th-August 2st).  The success of I'm Hungry™ has come quickly, thanks in part to the non-traditional marketing approach co-owners Andrea Conto and Sharleen O'Brien have taken.

I'm Hungry™ uses almost no traditional marketing, in fact the only traditional approach they currently use are small print ads in local publications including; “The Sheboygan Sun” and the “The Sheboygan Press”. But even these traditional print ads point readers to I'm Hungry's “new-age” efforts which include, social-media sites such as FaceBook, MySpace, Twitter, Merchant Circle, their website (www.imhungrydelivery.com) and now their Mobile Marketing campaign.

The Mobile campaign allows customers of I'm Hungry™ to TEXT: imhungry TO: 313131 to receive proactive information, new restaurant additions, updates, promotions, exclusive offers more directly on their mobile phones via a Text-Message.  After the one time opt-in, the consumer is automatically entered into monthly drawings for $50.00 I'm Hungry™ Gift Certificates.  Ms. Conto stated: “I became aware of how well Mobile Marketing worked for staying in touch with people during the recent election campaign and I thought it could be beneficial for our business.”

I'm Hungry™ launched their Mobile Marketing Campaign less than 2 weeks ago and currently have over 100 registrations from people interested in receiving information on their mobile phones. According to co-owner Sharleen O'Brien the Mobile campaign has had an added benefit; people are talking about I'm Hungry™ to others and sharing their text messages with them. Many times after sending a Text-Message the list will gain several more registrations.  “I like the idea of having people on a list they registered for so that we can reward them. To date most of the individuals registered are our steady customers and I like to reward their patronage with free delivery or $5.00 off their order when I can.” – Sharleen O'Brien

I'm Hungry's Mobile Marketing campaign is a permission-based marketing effort, only those who have willfully registered will receive the information, and they can be removed at anytime by Texting: STOP To: 313131. When Ms .O'Brien was asked why she selects  permission-based marketing efforts she replied: “Permission-Based is the way to go. Hoping people hear your radio ad, see your TV spot or read your print ad is not nearly as effective as sending information to those people who have already said they’d like to, and want to hear from us. Additionally, we can measure how well this campaign is working, we can’t with traditional outlets; it’s nice to know there’s a response and exactly what that response is.  Similar to the effective email marketing, however, not everyone has internet access, but, EVERYONE has a cell phone!"

I'm Hungry™ has sent their list of mobile subscribers 2 text messages since introducing it. The first promotion featured a “25% OFF lunch orders” special that resulted in a turnout of over 15%. The 2nd promotion, held on March 11th, included "FREE DELIVERY", which resulted in an estimated 20% of customers using the "311" coupon code they received in the text message.  The monthly drawings are held the last day of every month at 9:00pm.  Winner(s), ofcourse, will be notified via Text Message.

I'm Hungry™ offers online ordering at www.imhungrydelivery.com.  Orders can be placed for Delivery or Take-Out.  Phone orders by calling 920-783-ORDR(6737).   FAX ordering to:  715-849-5511. Orders can be placed hours, days or months in advance.  I'm Hungry™ opened in October of 2008 with four restaurants and currently offer delivery for ten restaurants.  March 1st was the release of Volume 1 of the Menu Guide, available at all participating restaurants, Chamber of Commerce and several various locations throughout Sheboygan or simply by calling and requesting one be mailed to you.  Menu Guides feature the simplistic option of "Ordering By Number".
