Travco Showcases Its Upcoming Projects At Itb 2009

March 11, 2009 - PRLog -- Travco Group unveils recent and forthcoming developments it plans to showcase during this year’s ITB.

During ITB, Travco will showcase its development projects with the hotel division leading the wave of expansions with eleven projects in the pipeline following the company’s first property in the city Iberotel Cairo Hotel & Casino, which joined the portfolio of hotels this January. It is a 5-star hotel located in Heliopolis and comprises of 412 rooms and suites, and is planned to attract diverse segments from corporate to families and MICE groups alike.

The long awaited destination of Ain Sokhna is home to the new Jaz Little Venice Golf Resort. The state of the art 5-star resort will consist of 120 tastefully furnished rooms and suites that in addition to a host of leisure facilities.

In the popular Red Sea resort of Hurghada, Travco Group unveiled plans for the new Iberotel Aquamarine Resort, a vast 5-star hotel comprising 1001 rooms and suites due to open at the end of 2009. Further down the Safaga road and close to the existing development of Madinat Coraya, the Sol Y Mar Moreen Resort & Spa is nearing completion and will open its doors this spring. The 4-star hotel consists of 208 superior and family rooms.

All eyes on the north coast, and nonetheless Travco’s with further ventures spreading out in Almaza Bay starting with Jaz Crystal Resort, the second 5-star resort to open in Almaza Bay development this summer adding 262 rooms and suites. Secondly there is the Jaz Oriental Resort which is a third 5-star resort to open this summer in Almaza Bay adding 212 deluxe guestrooms and suites for a total capacity of 860 guest rooms.

The Sinai Peninsula continues to be the budding spot for the Egyptian tourism and consequently most of the developments are focusing on this area. With Jaz Royal Taba making its debut this summer, this hotel is the group’s second in Taba being in the 5-star category with 306 rooms.

Sol Y Mar Sharks Bay is yet another addition in Sharm El Sheikh, and consists of 138 rooms and suites. This 4 star hotel is due to open its doors to its guests by July 2009. That is not all; Sol Y Mar Naama Hills is yet another addition to its sizeable presence in the city of peace. Ideally situated in the heart Sharm El Sheikh, the 4-star hotel comprises of pleasantly furnished rooms and suites, and is due to open in the summer of 2009.
For those seeking more serene surroundings, Jaz Hotels and Resorts plans on introducing Jaz Bab El Shams which is tucked away on the quiet shores of Nabq Bay, Sharm El Sheikh. The 5-star hotel consists of 578 rooms due to receive its first guests by end of 2009.


The Nile Cruise division is the other area with sustained growth. Travco continues to dazzle its guests with more of the 5 star deluxe cruises lines following the immense success of M/S Jaz Omar El Khayam. Next in line are the M/S Jaz Minerva of the 5-star deluxe category comprising 80 cabins and suites; in addition to M/S Jaz Legacy which is also of the 5-star category comprising of 78 cabins, and due to open in the Summer of 2009, and M/S Château Lafayette with 55 cabins and should be ready to sail by the first quarter of 2009.
