March 9, 2009 - PRLog -- Jim Reed, a long time resident and a General Manager in the pizza industry in Bakersfield, has fulfilled his dream of opening his own pizzeria. Jim has brought the famous Chicago Deep Dish Pizza to the Golden State with the opening of his Jimano’s Pizzeria Franchise.  

Jim originally inquired about the Chicago-based franchise after being intrigued by their website Jimanos.com and Jimano’s Pizzeria’s commitment to serving a Home-Style, Award-Winning Pizza coupled with superior customer service. “In today’s market, our customers demand both of these: outstanding food and superior customer service!” Jim shares.

Jimano’s Pizzeria Bakersfield opened with a huge reception from friends and family with over 200 guests the first night. The buzz is flying through Bakersfield as the excitement has not stopped since its “Sweet Heart” of an opening on Valentine’s Day.

Guests have enjoyed a pizza that just hasn’t been available in California until now! When Jim visited the Jimano’s Pizzeria franchise headquarters for his Discovery Day he proclaimed “There is nothing like this in California! I want to be the one to bring it there!”

Franchise Founder, Jimmy OBerto, was confident in Jim Reed’s 20-year pizza career but expressed the difference in Jimano’s pizza over the national chains. “We are a labor intensive, home-made pizza; a far cry from the frozen dough you have been used to serving.
