March 6, 2009 - PRLog -- Bryant University prolific quarterback Jay Graber is being tutored for the NFL’s April 2009 draft by former Colts NFL quarterback Jim Kubiak. Southpaw Graber has been training in Buffalo, N.Y., under Kubiak for the past several weeks.

Kubiak believes that Graber has what it takes to play in the National Football League. Graber threw for 1,676 yards and 13 touchdowns during his senior season at small Bryant University in 2008. Kubiak is impressed with Graber’s size, arm strength, quickness and ability to throw the football accurately. Graber is 6’3”, 225 pds., and runs the 40 in 4.7.

Kubiak was a three-year starting quarterback at Navy. He graduated as Navy’s all-time leader in passing yards (6,008), and completions (558), while throwing 23 touchdowns. From 1998 to 2003, Kubiak played with the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts and New York Jets and in the NFL Europe League. Kubiak later became an Arena 1 football star setting single season league records in total passing yards and touchdowns.

Graber graduated from Bryant in December 2008. He will be participating in Brown University’s NFL Pro Day on March 11 at the school’s campus in Providence, R.I.
