The Villages - Florida - US

March 5, 2009 - PRLog -- These Neighborhood Electric Vehicles NEV's are made right here it USA in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  The Villages Golf Cart Man is the first approved dealer in Florida, and is located right here in the Villages.   The cars are uniquely different than your standard golf cart. They are 72 Volt and can go as far as 46 miles on one full charge.  One other item I found very useful, the charger is built in and you only need an extension cord to charge it.
After driving the LC3 I can say overall it was fun to drive. The handling and the extra speed honestly made it very fun to drive.  I also felt much safer with a seat belt and roll bar support above my head. The top comes off with a click of a button and then you have a convertible or if it rains a custom cover made to fit is available.  There are just so many reasons why I think this business will do well here in The Villages.  After speaking with Sales Representative James Shank I was overwhelmed with the amount of info he was able to provide me.  One of which is the huge tax credit that Uncle Sam set aside from the Federal Government in the new stimulus package.
The LC3 vehicle is also available for rent and/or a Free Demo at the dealership in The Spanish Springs area at 110 LaGrande Blvd in the Professional Side of the La Plaza Grande Center off US Hwy 441.  You can also visit their web sites which is geared strictly toward the LC3 Car or which is a general web site for the entire dealership with an online store for golf cart product and accessories.
They offer these cars directly from the factory for less than what you might think.  Engineered to drive on any road posted 35 Mph or less and they come equipped with seatbelts, windshield wipers and a real windshield. They are certainly worth the effort to see and compare before your next golf cart purchase.
