Disgusted by the lack of ethics she witnessed in the industry, Amber vowed to start her own company, based on the Golden Rule, “do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” As a 27-year-old real estate agent, she had little-to-no experience with children’s apparel, but had long-dreamed of entrepreneurship. Amber launched RuffleButts in late August 2007 at KIDShow Las Vegas. Less than 6 months later, in January 2008, she was invited to Beverly Hills for the pre-Golden Globes Celebrity Gifting Suite, with celebrity fans including Denise Richards, Carnie Wilson, Ali Landry and Jason Priestly, just to name a few. In today’s economy, as many women face career challenges, Amber also shares her entrepreneurial journey on her RuffleBlog (www.RuffleBlog.com) # # # RuffleButts, Inc. is a children’s apparel company based out of Charlotte, NC. The RuffleButts line of fun & frilly creations for infant and toddler girls is available directly through their website, as well as in boutiques around the globe and select Nordstrom Department Stores. Also available in the line is a wide variety of mix-n-match tops, ruffled-bottom pants, hoodies, and dresses, all made of the same 100% cotton fabrics.
