March 4, 2009 - PRLog -- RuffleButts, Inc. (www.RuffleButts.com) Owner and Designer, Amber Schaub, left a lucrative career in real estate to pursue a dream, launching RuffleButts, a children’s apparel business, just two years ago. Bringing back the ruffled diaper cover of her childhood, Amber left the world of high-rollers to focus on a slightly “smaller” clientele. She created a company with the goal of spreading ruffles and sharing smiles, which she strives to accomplish on a daily basis. RuffleButts celebrated their highest monthly revenues to date last month (February 2009), at a time when many other women are struggling with their own career decisions and trying to make ends meet.

As a Real Estate Sales Representative for the Victory Park Project in Dallas, TX, Amber was surrounded by wealthy clients and celebrity parties, but something was missing. Disgusted by the lack of ethics she witnessed in the industry, Amber vowed to start her own company, based on the Golden Rule, “do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” As a 27-year-old real estate agent, she had little-to-no experience with children’s apparel, but had long-dreamed of entrepreneurship. Amber launched RuffleButts in late August 2007 at KIDShow Las Vegas.  Less than 6 months later, in January 2008, she was invited to Beverly Hills for the pre-Golden Globes Celebrity Gifting Suite, with celebrity fans including Denise Richards, Carnie Wilson, Ali Landry and Jason Priestly, just to name a few.

In today’s economy, as many women face career challenges, Amber also shares her entrepreneurial journey on her RuffleBlog (www.RuffleBlog.com) in hopes of inspiring women to pursue their own ventures. Amber and her husband, Mark, also welcomed their first child, daughter Aubrey, into the world this past November. With Mark as the company’s COO, along with one other part-time employee, Amber is now learning to balance the roles of children’s wear designer, CEO, and mother, while loving every minute of it!
