Iraqi Translator Joins Staff of MTM LinguaSoft

March 2, 2009 - PRLog -- Enas Ibrahim, a translator from Baghdad, has recently joined the staff of MTM LinguaSoft as a project and vendor manager.

Ibrahim graduated with a degree in English to Arabic translation from Al Mustinsyria University in Baghdad in 2006. She left Iraq for Jordan soon after graduation because the situation at that time made it impossible for her to pursue work in her own country.

While in Jordan, she worked for a year as a translator for Integrated Management and Information Consultants. In May of 2008, she applied for entry into the U.S. under a special visa program for Iraqi refugees. She was settled in Philadelphia where her family's sponsor resides.

MTM LinguaSoft's president, Myriam Siftar, learned about Ibrahim from an Iraqi acquaintance, and offered her a position on a trial basis. MTM LinguaSoft's business has been expanding rapidly, and Ibrahim's expertise in Arabic also fit right in with the company's needs.

Ibrahim now works full-time managing translation projects, screening translators and occasionally helping out with translation and proofreading.
