PRLog -- Engineered Metal Products S.A. announces the expansion of the investment cast Mexico production facility. The new expansion will expand the land area by 500% and triple the building area to 3000 square meters. The new investment casting facility is located in a suburb of Guadalajara, Mexico. The new Mexico location will allow the expansion of investment cast products, as well as expanded CNC machining and polishing facilities. The facility will be equipped with three German designed Walther-Trowal drag finishing machines. These huge machines allow semi-automated polishing of complex parts such as propellers, impellers, turbine blades, etc. The facility is integrated into the North American supply chain with weekly deliveries to warehousing in Shreveport, Louisiana. Company owner Steve Powers projects occupancy of the new facility in the second quarter of 2009.
