David Elman takes the reins of Baker-Elman Plumbing, an award winning family plumbing business.

Feb. 25, 2009 - PRLog -- Newton, MA – Baker Elman Plumbing, a Massachusetts based company has recently announced that   David Elman has taken over the management of the 60-year-old family plumbing business. As a third generation master plumber, David Elman is grateful to his grandfather, Ruby Fliegelman, his dad, Chet Elman, for creating and maintaining a tradition of courteous and professional service throughout the western and southern suburbs of Boston.

Baker-Elman’s Plumbing services are impeccable as proven by the string of awards they have garnered over the years. Among them are Angie’s List of Super Service Award, Best of Boston 2008, and Best of Boston Home, both awarded by the Boston magazine.  Personalized customer service is evident in the way they communicate with each client either on the phones or at their homes to ensure their clients receive the best information available to them.

The family tradition began in 1943, when Ruby Fliegelman started his own plumbing business serving the communities of Mattapan and Dorchester.  Chet Elman, David’s father,  following in his father Ruby's footsteps, started his own plumbing company in Newton

David began his plumbing career working for Baker Plumbing in 1973 at the age of 18. .  Continuing to grow his business, in 1975, Chet Elman bought out Baker Plumbing and under new ownership the company was and continues to be known as Baker-Elman Plumbing. In 1975 David made the move into the family owned business. Over many years Baker-Elman Plumbing has built up a strong residential customer base.

"We strive to provide our customers with minimal cause for concern with regard to preserving ceilings and walls while repairs are being made," David Elman said.

Under the new ownership of David Elman, Baker-Elman Plumbing recently purchased a new fleet of trucks to better serve clients’ plumbing needs, repairs, heaters, boilers and remodeling, continuing the tradition of providing Baker-Elman’s award winning services to customers in the Boston area.
