PRLog -- Carlene Badeau is a director for Mason Learning Center Corporation, a non-profit tutoring service that is actively engaged in helping children overcome the obstacles of dyslexia by providing free, one-on-one, multi-sensory reading and written language tutoring. Additionally, the Children's Learning Centers supports clinical research programs that focus on dyslexia. In this capacity since 2003, Carlene is greatly depended on to oversee all daily operations. Her duties include an assortment of tasks in the recruitment, training, and financial departments. She is especially successful at creating strategic plans aimed at helping the children tackle the curriculum, and travels throughout the east coast, sharing these techniques and experiences with educators and parents. In addition to her role as director, Carlene works as a reading specialist at Harwood Union High School. Additionally, she is an esteemed member of the International Dyslexia Association and the Reading Association. Carlene has always had a strong belief in education. She graduated from Norwich University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and visual arts. Though she has always nurtured an interest in the education field, her resolve grew even further when a family member was diagnosed with a severe form of dyslexia. In the near future, Carlene hopes to assemble and publish her specialized techniques and curriculum, to benefit educators and parents. She is highly regarded for this dedication and efficiency, in both her professional and personal undertakings. She maintains a dynamic humanitarian profile, contributing to various charities and volunteer groups, and is equally active within her community. In her spare time, Carlene enjoys being with family, learning to swim, and reading her favorite business publication, Perspective, by the International Dyslexia Association.
