Nokia 5800 Xpress Music Hits India

Feb. 20, 2009 - PRLog -- A 3.2 inch nice and cool touch screen (restive) greets you in Nokia 5800 Xpress Music series.The phone which is talk of the town these days. has a resolution of 360 x 640 pixels . A small practical difference between a restive and a simple tough screen is that while tough screen is works well with figure tough only , the restive tough screen works well even when you are wearing a glove.

People should not fear about its screen getting a scratch as its well protected.Accelerometer is nice but a bit more sensitive.

This  111 x 51.7 x 15.5mm phone weighs just 109g  which is quite feather-weight.Xpress 5800 display is even visible in radiant background like sunlight or stadium.There is QWERT keyboard functionality inbuild on display.

Nokia Xpress Music 5800 has 3.2 megapixel camera added with dual LED flash and performance of camera is satisfactory unless you are not a perfectionist.

The mobile handset is particularly being popular for its excellent multimedia capabilities.The phone has an excellent FM sound reception and takes very small time to search and set all fm stations.

There is also a voice recorder with nice recording quality.Nokia has given an application for Podcast as well.But , while wide screen display area makes it a really great video watching experience the non existence of playback resume feature spoils some beans !  

There is 3.2 MP camera in Nokia 5800 On memory talk , the mobile phone has 81MB internal memory with microSD external (8GB included).Surprisingly ! the 1320 mAh battary is not that strong as was expected.

If you use GPS heavily or watch videos more , you need to charge it every day.Otherwise , with light uses it will need charging every third day approx.

Nokia 5800 uses Nokia Maps 2.0 for GPS and works well for searching a place.Its a 3 months all free service.Detailed map is still not available incase of India and the geo-tagging option is also absent.Web browsing is a nice experience but lack of status bar confuses the users about status of a webpage page request.

Nokia has kept its price  Rs 20,100 in India.
