Check it for a Smooth Ride

This is the reason why automatic transmission system has come into play and this is exactly offering much ease in operating a car. In automatic transmission system you don’t need to change the gear ratios by yourself. But the system will do the task on behalf of you. While you drive the car you need to change the gears very frequently. Therefore a perfect gear ratio is all important. In manual transmission you have to make it manually on your own. But with the advance technology now the system can do it for you and can determine the gear ratios easily.

In automatic transmission system there is a huge essentiality for automatic transmits oil. This is also known as ATF. There are many experts that suggest having a regular check with your automatic transmission fluid. This is really important as far as your car’s performance is concerned. If your really want that your car can produce you excellent transportation then go for a check up for your ATF. At least once in a month you need to check the ATF level. However, if you are not feeling good about the functionality of your car gears then it’s the time to go for ATF’s check up. ATF is a highly essential part that determines the gear ratios which leads the way for a comfortable ride.

Well, you can also do it on your own. You need to park the car at a parking lot. Then start the engine and let the engine to gain some amount of heat. You have to leave your vehicle in neutral condition while performing this task. When your engine has achieved desired amount of warmness then try to look for the ATF dipstick. ATF dipstick is smaller with comparison to the engine oil dipstick. Well, now its time to pull out the ATF dipstick and wipe it out by a piece of cloth. Then put it back in predetermined location. And now it’s the checking time. So, remove it again and see at the marks. One is for cold readings and another mark is for warm readings.  If the ATF level is just at the FULL denoted spot then the level is well. If not and below the FULL spot then its time to add ATF to gain the determined level.
