Meridian Lapex BCS Pro makes UK debut

Building on experience gained with the Lapex BCS 2000 and Gold models, the Lapex BCS Pro is now set to create its very own proven track record in offering visible inch-loss through non-surgical laser lipolysis fat reduction.

With its new four, low level laser diode probes, it now boasts double the effective laser coverage giving the benefit of increased results and shorter treatment times where applicable. The new Lapex BCS Pro also looks visually stunning mounted upon its optional illuminated stand.

Due to our modern lifestyles an increasing number of the population now carry excess body fat. Adipose or fatty tissue is the body's means of storing metabolic energy over extended periods of time. Depending on your physical condition, adipocytes store fat derived from the diet and liver metabolism, or degrades stored fat to supply fatty acids and glycerol to the circulation. The Lapex BCS low level laser stimulates the fat cells causing them to release their contents of water, glycerol and free fatty acids (FFA's), thus reducing in size. The therapist is able to target specific areas of the body in each treatment session, removing targeted fat and achieve body contouring without pain, needles or surgery.

A course of eight treatments is recommended for maximum inch-loss, however, single or dual treatments may be taken for a 'quick fix' fat reduction prior to, for example; fitting into that party dress that was a little tight last time worn!

A typical treatment starts with a full consultation to ascertain a client’s suitability to the Lapex BCS body contouring system. Measurements of the body are taken and recorded at specific locations on the body, and are later used for comparison. The client will be invited to lie on the couch, where the slim line laser probes are then placed upon the area of the body to be targeted. Two smaller 'enhancement probes' are placed over specific lymphatic glands to stimulate the lymphatic system which aids in the removal of the released fats. The Lapex BCS is then setup and runs for a preset time before switching off the laser, allowing the therapist to reposition the probes for the next ten minute session. Three or four 10 minute sessions are required each treatment as assessed by the fully qualified and trained therapist. After the treatment, further measurements are taken and used to compare with the initial set to show actual inch-loss achieved.

Immediately following the treatment, the client is then invited to carry out 10 to 15 minutes of 'cardio' exercise, which stimulates the body into burning the fuel that has been released. It is advised that further exercise is taken during the following 24 hours to ensure that all of the released fats are burned by the body as fuel.

The therapist will also recommend a sensible, balanced diet both during the treatment schedule and after, thus maintaining the effects of the Lapex BCS body contouring treatment.
