Feb. 13, 2009 - PRLog -- It is no secret that pupil behaviour has long been a problem for teachers in many UK schools.  But what support is available for those teachers who are struggling to manage behaviour?  Due to high demand from their clients, Pivotal Education have now launched an online specialist behaviour management resource area to provide teachers with useful and up-to-date information to aid them in the classroom.

Pivotal’s leading team of specialist behaviour management trainers are contributing articles and training materials to this new resource area.  But there is also an opportunity for teachers to share their own behaviour resources and tips with other visitors to the site.
The resource area forms a special new section of the Pivotal Education website.

Resources are categorised in the following main sections:
1) Training My Students and Managing My Classroom, 2) Training Myself and Managing Myself, 3) Training My Staff and Managing My School and 4)Information.

There are currently around 30 resources in the Pivotal Education Behaviour Resource Area including: a printable behaviour award, a teacher’s self-audit of current behaviour management practice, strategies for managing dyspraxic children, Pivotal intervention scripts, ways to manage consistency across the school and information about Aspergers, Autism and ADHD.

“Teachers and teaching assistants are looking for practical strategies based on recent, relevant practice.  The Pivotal Resource Area is not just rich in resources, but reflects cutting edge training from some of the country’s leading experts.”  Paul Dix, Managing Director, Pivotal Education.

Pivotal Education are committed to providing teachers with useful and practical information.  They also send out free weekly behaviour management tips to over 5000 people on their mailing list.
