In the land of Buddha... What really is happenning in Srilanka?...

Feb. 13, 2009 - PRLog -- The nation is on a seemingly eternal war with the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eezham. Now it seems that the government laid troops are in control over the north-east area of the island nation, which were once the haven of the LTTE's.
The government accuses the rebels of using innocent civilians as human shield, where as the LTTEs deny the accusations to the core.
Estimates quote that more than 250000 civilians stranded between the conflict zone, in the region of open fire. Life for the Tamil's of Srilanka has subsided from the worser to the worst.
The plea of the international community and the UN and the International Red Cross Society are falling victim to deaf ears.
What really happens in the island is still an unknown trauma for those outside the island. The world is keenly watching over the happenings and so are the Tamil Community residing all over the world.
It is still unknown, who is to blame or who is to fame.
Is it really the struglle for freedom and a free nation, or an uprising of misled outfits?.. is still a question poised in the minds of the people all over the world.
Will the war come to an end, and if so what would be the aftermath effects of the war. What would happen to the Srilankan tamils over there and their future. Will the 13th amendment be amended?!...
What is the role of India in the Lankan Crisis?!..
What people of Tamilnadu feel of their brethren?!...
Lot of questions remain unanswered, just as the whereabouts of VeluPillai Prabhakaran, the one surviving leader and hope of the pro LTTE supporters.
