One of the modifications/upgrades commonly completed on off road vehicles is the addition of a different front bumper. One that will accommodate a winch. While adding a winch bumper and a winch provides additional safety and security for off highway adventures, in some states it creates a bit of a logistical challenge. In states where a front license plate is required, removal of the stock bumper generally means removal of the plate as well.
