Feb. 12, 2009 - PRLog -- eNable Business Solutions, a local provider of business technology products and services, today announced the opening of the initial location of the BIZTech Business Resource Center.  BIZTech will include a showroom for technology products, a retail outlet for staple technology items, a repair and help center, and will offer an array of IT services, all under one roof.

“It is difficult for businesses, particularly smaller ones, to find a local retailer for technology products that is also capable of properly supporting what they sell”, said Robert Covington, President and CEO, eNable Business Solutions.  With the recent closing of CompUSA, and the withdrawal of Circuit City from the Atlanta market, the number of convenient sources for business technology products is dwindling.”

BIZTech will provide a facility that allows customers to see and try major technology products such as the TalkSwitch small-office phone system and the Sonicwall network security line, in an environment conducive to an unhurried review.  In addition, PC repair and support services will be offered, as well as free consultations at the “Big Brain Desk.”, and all conveniently within a selected office park.  The initial location will be at 5950 Crooked Creek Road in Norcross, in the heart of Technology Park Atlanta.  Additional locations are planned for other major office parks around Atlanta.

According to Covington, most small businesses buy major products such as phone systems sight unseen.  “Our resource center will provide an environment where they can see and try products before they buy them.”  Among the product lines available for review will be Sonicwall’s network security line, which is ideal for small and medium businesses, but are rarely available for hands-on review in a showroom environment, and not available from the “big box” stores.

BIZTech will carry a variety of “staple” technology items such as basic business PCs, disks, cables, battery backup units and power strips, along with a variety of software packages – the kind of items that small businesses need on short notice.  Additionally, BIZTech will host an ongoing series of free seminars, presented by the BIZTech staff, as well as other industry experts.

Scheduled opening activities include a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday February 25 at 3 PM, and a dedication Thursday February 26 at 7:30 PM, with the opening occurring Monday March 2 at 7:30 AM.  A grand opening/open house is planned for the Spring.
