Magic City Entertainment Launches Asian Hip-Hop Label MC-Hop Records

Feb. 12, 2009 - PRLog -- Mystery, intrigue and frustration has always surrounded the Asian Hip-Hop and Rap scene and many western artists have wondered if their style of music had a place in the music world of Asia.    Well wonder no more, MC-Hop Records, formed by reknowned Producer "M. Ray Evans", has opened a new door for up-and-coming artists from around the world.

"We plan to use this new Asia-centric label  as a new platform for not only artists in East Asia but also to help develop the local hip-hop culture, as well as offering new American artists an alternative that wasn't available to them in the past."

In addition to these efforts MC-Hop Records will release a joint album between American artists and local musicians that MC-Hop will record during its upcoming Autumn ’09 tour and in the future plan on releasing more CDs from Asian hip-hop and rap musicians.

This is an unprecedented opportunity for Asians, particularly Chinese, urban music, and for American artists to be a part of the ever-growing hip-hop scene.
