Feb. 10, 2009 - PRLog -- Global Ride, producers of one of the leading virtual ride cycling training DVDs, will continue expanding their on-bike training in their next DVD release, filmed in Italy.
The company’s first DVD release, filmed in Hawaii, coupled indoor cycling workouts with bonus yoga, pilates and strength training sessions.  These cross training sessions were designed to take what would be a standalone cycling workout and form it into a full-body exercise for all muscle groups.
Global Ride has announced their Italy series will also feature a yoga, pilates or strength training session on each of its three DVDs, but the exercises involved will be different from the ones included with the first series.
The 30-minute sessions are completely redesigned featuring all new positions and movements to challenge the body and give owners of the first series new material.  Additionally, the Italy series strength training session will utilize stability balls instead of free weights, and the pilates session will be designed safe for expectant women, as the instructor who coaches the workout does so at 16 weeks pregnant.
A new trainer also joins the team for the strength training session, bringing a new instructional style to Global Ride.
