The event took place on January 23rd and 24th to help raise money for the Special Olympics Maryland, the state’s largest year round organization dedicated to helping over 10,000 child and adults with intellectual disabilities. For a minimum of $50 in pledges, Plungers were able to participate in the ice cold dip into the Chesapeake Bay. To date, the event has raised close to $360,000 in donations! This will be one of many fundraising events gotügo will contribute to in the year 2009.
