Feb. 9, 2009 - PRLog -- Commercial applications often need to be assessed to ensure their security claims are being upheld.  Custom applications are often updated and need an independent review to ensure vulnerabilities are not being exposed.  We'll discuss how to improve the software development cycle along with techniques on proactively mitigating vulnerabilities should they be introduced on a public webserver.  The presentation will be presented by Imperva & generously hosted at Websense in San Diego.

OWASP (OWASP.ORG) is a free and open community devoted to the advancement of application security awareness and improvement.  With a plethora of funded open-source products, coding principals that have been adopted by PCI standards, and the intellect of an exceptional list of security experts, OWASP continues to grow and deliver exceptional resources for security conscious individuals.
