Feb. 9, 2009 - PRLog -- Laser Safety Industries, Minneapolis MN - Dec. 1, 2009 - LSI combined it professional staff's 30+ years collective experience with the expertise of undisclosed lens design company to produced a polycarbonate laser filter glasses with virtually no distortion, wide field of view, fit-over capability, with the highest in lens quality. LSI created 10-105 laser eye wear to answers consumers request for more economical and durable light-weight laser protection with exceptional clarity and universal fit. The 100-10-105 is a light yellow colored laser filer and has an optical density of 5+ from 190-400 nm and 6+ from 10,000-11,000 nm which is idea for applications using Excimer lasers, Argon lasers, and CO2 lasers. There eye wear may be appropriate for use with other lasers depending on wavelength and require optical density. The 10-105 also had double sided scratch resistant coating for added durability and is large enough to be used instead of laser goggles over most prescriptions. The excimer laser glasses are manufactured at their Minneapolis facility.
