Feb. 5, 2009 - PRLog -- Lorie’s documentary ‘Forgotten Ellis Island’ will be broadcast nationally on PBS, Monday, Feb. 2nd at 10pm. It is a powerful tribute to the best and worst of America's dealings with its new citizens-to-be.  Her near decade long research became the foundation for the film and book, and filming the 22 abandoned hospital buildings, before restoration efforts began.
