Baby Quasar Light Therapy Review

I heard about LED Light Therapy from my daughter which peaked my interest. I’ve been researching this technology before I make a purchase and have found Baby Quasar to be at the top of my list. It’s a bit pricey, but Id rather have something that works rather than buying a cheaper brand so that in the long run I can get the results I need.

Baby Quasar is becoming very popular on blog forums and customers are reporting fantastic improvements in their skin. The makers of Baby Quasar, AdvanThera, make professional LED skin treatment devices for clinics and spas and the Baby Quasar is a scaled down version of these.

My first question was what exactly is LED Light Therapy? LED Light Therapy is an FDA-approved cosmetic procedure that is gentle, painless, safe and effective.  Treatments are non-invasive and non-abrasive, yet the red light penetrates deeply into skin tissue. It stimulates gradual healing by increasing blood circulation and lymphatic activity. There are two types of treatments, red light therapy and blue light therapy.

Blue LED Light Therapy has been proven to be very effective against more difficult acne cases. In clinical studies, blue light has been shown to attack the bacteria that causes acne. More than 86 percent of study participants experienced a 74% acne reduction which is impressive.

Red LED  Light Therapy is for the treatment of rosacea, anti-aging, hyper-pigmentation and sun damage. Customers are reporting that the Red light therapy also works for acne problems as well.

LED Light Therapy is not for you if you suffer from one of the following conditions:     Pregnancy — studies have not sufficiently assessed the risk to pregnant women and their babies, therefore it is not recommended. Epilepsy — certain light frequencies can trigger an epileptic seizure Thyroid condition — if you suffer from a thyroid condition or are on thyroid medication If you are photo-allergic, or are taking any medication that causes light sensitivity. I would check with your physician if you have personal medical concerns before using light therapy treatments.

If you’re a baby boomer like me, you probably used to bask in the sun for hours on end. Those were the days, right? Today all we have left to show for that golden tan are age spots and wrinkles. I remember when sun damage began to show up on my face at about age 40. Who knew that decades later sun damage would increase the aging process so drastically?  More surprising though, who would have thought we could one day have professional skin care treatments available to use in the privacy of our home? I’ve learned that chemical peels and microdermabrasion may be applied before or after LED Light Therapy to complement the treatments. Exfoliation  treatment is also an excellent combination and can accelerate the desired result. I'll be researching these options in my next product review.

As I mentioned before the Baby Quasar is one of the more expensive light therapy treatment products. I’ve found it to be between $300-$450 retail. Spa treatments are even higher and Id rather have my own Baby Quasar which would pay for itself in a short amount of time.

Of course we don’t want to look older than our age, instead we want to look younger! We owe it to ourselves to take good care of our skin, help it heal and even better reverse the signs of aging. Good skin makes us feel confident and even builds our self esteem. I want something that really makes a difference and can actually give me professional quality results. I have concluded that Baby Quasar is the best overall LED Light Therapy Treatment available for home use based on what I’ve learned so far.
