New York Friday February 2, 2009  - Photographer, Dani Brubaker recently photographed fashion icon Kimora Lee Simmons and her two daughters Ming and Aoki for Vogue Bambini and Kids LA Magazine.

Lensed last month in New York City, at Splashlight Studios, Dani showcased Ming Lee and Aoki Lee looking beautiful in a minimalist, chic set, wearing Baby Phat clothes.   In classic Dani style, the sisters are having a blast – energetic, high-spirited, and fun – kids being kids.  Dani gave the camera to Ming Lee who photographed her sister Aoki – the images are charming.

Kimora, talented designer, savvy business woman and celebrated mom captivates the camera.   The images depict the loving relationship of the family and the joy they experience being together.

Previously, Dani has photographed the Baby Phat Girlz and Phat Farm Fall 2008 campaigns.  Most recently Dani photographed the 77 Kids by American Eagle campaign – due to release now.  She’s scheduled to shoot Crazy 8 later this month.

Dani won 2nd place in a national competition from her mini super model photo session at the Advertising Photographers of America National Photo Competition with three images.  In addition she won honorable mentions for these same images in the International Photography Awards in both the Fashion and People categories.

Several other of Dani’s campaigns also garnered honorable mentions at the IPA -  “Junkyard Kids” – a modern day take on the Little Rascals; an ethereal series entitled “Fog” with beautiful young models at the beach encircled in a sensual fog; “Big Sur” features a young girl atop a rock , face turned to the sun like a gorgeous wood sprite and “Grocery Store Kids” a fun, flamboyant romp by two boys “gone wild” in a supermarket.
Dani continues to produce high-caliber, fun and beautiful images featuring children being kids.  She’s repped by Tricia Joyce and her images are syndicated by ICON International.  Clients include, Billabong, American Eagle, Billie Girls, Mattel, Perry Ellis, Phat Farm, Gossip Girl, Baby Phat, and Dani’s stylish signature photography appears in magazines such as Vogue Bambini, Lucky, Glamour, CosmoGirl and Teen Vogue.
