Orange County Business Leader, Nathan Rosenberg,
Elected as Chairman of the Board for the Orange County Council, Boy Scouts of America

Laguna Beach, CA. --- Nathan Owen Rosenberg was elected to Chairman of the Board for the Orange County Council, Boy Scouts of America at its Annual Business meeting held Tuesday night, January 27th, 2009. At that meeting, 15 new board members were elected to the board.

Held each January, the Council’s Annual Business Meeting gathers representatives from the Council Charter Organizations as well as the incoming and outgoing board members, for elections and to conduct business. The Council Board of Directors, a volunteer board made up of more than 60 of the County’s top executives, leads the Orange County Council, Boy Scouts of America.

Rosenberg, who was involved in Scouting in his youth, has served on the board of directors for the Orange County Council, Boy Scouts of America since 1993 and currently holds the position of Vice Chair of Marketing. Additionally, Rosenberg serves on the Boys Scouts’ Western Region Executive Board and was a member of the National Advisory Council prior to being elected to the National Executive Board.
