Red Condor Adds New Director of Channel Management

Managed email security solutions provider hires Chris Gardner to build inside sales team focused on reseller development and growth.

Jan. 22, 2009 - PRLog -- Rohnert Park, Calif. – Red Condor, a leading provider of fully managed email security solutions, today announced that Chris Gardner has been appointed as the new director of channel management. Gardner brings more than 18 years of sales, marketing and business development experience, most recently serving as director of channel development for BakBone Software in San Diego, Calif. At Red Condor, Gardner will be responsible for building an inside sales team focused on reseller development and growth.

Prior to BakBone, Gardner served as the director of channel and alliances for Akonix Systems, a division of Quest Software, where he was responsible for all channel management activities across the United States, Canada, Asia and Latin America. He also served as vice president of North America sales for Lumension Security (formerly PatchLink Corp.) from 2003 to 2006 where he grew sales from less than $10 million to more than $35 million.

Gardner also worked as the director of national sales for St. Bernard Software from 2000 to 2003 where he helped increase sales growth by 120 percent. He earned a bachelor’s degree in physics from Northeastern University and a master’s degree in international business from Georgetown University.
