Jeff Owen Artworks Gg Sculptures A Hit At Gbk Vip Gift Suite For The 66th Golden Globes Awards

Jan. 21, 2009 - PRLog -- Sculptor Jeff Owen designed and created 12” and 24” abstract steel sculptures “GGs”, as custom gifts for the celebrities invited to the GBK VIP gift suite at the 66th Golden Globes Awards in Beverly Hills, CA. Seventy stars received these one of a kind sculptures, AnnaLynne McCord of 90210, Jai Rodriguez, Stephen Baldwin, Terence Howard, Tom Arnold, Hoobanstank band, Amanda Bynes, Billy Zane, Kevin Sorbo, and Selena Gomez to name a few. Celebrity comments included: “Brilliant”, “Great!”, “Awesome!”, “Beautiful”, “Can I put one on my desk?, and “Great for my desert home!”

Jeff Owen was selected by GBK Productions, the favorite gifting suite of the celebrities. Owen is known for his larger sculptures, such as Artemis, Jazz, Holland, Vegas, Yuma, and Construction that he displayed at the GBK gifting suite. GBK Productions purchased Vegas and Holland for their Beverly Blvd offices.

Jeff is known for bold abstract sculptures using found metal. Owen sees patterns in metal and expresses these in his sculptures to evoke emotions. Owen’s sculptures have won awards at regional and national competitions, such as the Carmel Sculpture in the Park, City of Santa Clara Indoor Sculpture exhibitions, and Los Gatos Art Association juried shows.
