Looking for New Authors

Unlike books that are tourism or history only, this book series can delve into both areas plus other genres as well, often misplaced thus, ignored in other publishing arenas.

Do you have a region, city or town that you think can fill a book of attributes about the place? Do you have a hobby, music genre, or sport team you can write about?

Examples: Best things about Myspace, Best things about Gettysburg, Best things about Philadelphia., Best things about being an I Dream of Jeannie Fan, Best things about being a grandparent, Best things about Chhuahuas…..

Format:
50-70 pages double spaced in a word doc.
To Include
1.   Introduction to the topic (500 -1000 words)
2.   Author Bio (500-1000 words)
3.   Interviews with either locals, other fans, sports team members or fans
4.   Three copyright free photos that will become property of Balletsa, Inc, for use for promotions, covers, etc… must be high quality digital format.
5.   You must have at least 50 items that are “best things” and at least a paragraph on each, some may take up more text but no one-liners.

To be considered you must also have a marketing plan in place.
1.   List 10 places (with contact information, including but not limited to physical address, email, telephone and contact person) where the book could be sold and/or you could hold signings or readings or “Best of” book kick-off party.
2.   Why you think that this book would do well in your region, hobby, etc.

      (a) Working Title proposed
       (b) 500 words or less on the area, hobby, etc and why we should publish it
       (c) why we should contract you for this project.

(2) If interested we will email or write you back within ten working days.
(3) This is NOT vanity press but a valid publishing opportunity; you pay NOTHING and will receive commission if contracted.

Focus for regional, city and town books will be within the United States.
