Qlubb Increases Group Participation with Shared 30-day Calendars and Notification Reminder Dashboard

Jan. 14, 2009 - PRLog -- Qlubb, a provider of social collaboration Web solutions for real-life groups recently released several new features to encourage members to participate more in their group activities.  The newly revamped home page, 30-day calendar view and Act Now dashboard help users know where volunteers are needed and how and when they can help. The new, shared calendar provides a graphical view of all past and upcoming activities.

The newly designed home page includes the Act Now section which notifies users of all open volunteering slots still available, all RSVP's the member may not have yet responded to as well as provides reminders of all upcoming tasks that they have signed up for.  In one dashboard widget, they can view all activities that they are participating in as well as all open slots that still need members to sign up.  All of the listings are prioritized by time as well so that the most time sensitive volunteer slots are displayed first.  Act Now lessens the need for organizers to "chase down" their members to sign up for activities.

The 30-day calendar displays all upcoming events in standard, scrollable calendar format.  In addition, files and photos that are associated with specific dates are also displayed on the calendar.  For instance, a monthly newsletter in .pdf format or a video file can be referenced on a specific date on the calendar.  Similarly, photos taken on a specific day can be displayed appropriately on the calendar for easy access.
