Finding the Gift in Shift Conference Speakers Interviewed on Sedona Talk Radio

In their inspiring interviews with Sonya, Sarah McLean, John English and Jane Elizabeth Smith discussed their topics for the upcoming conference.  Sarah will lead morning meditations; Jane, a Certified Financial Planner, will discuss “Finding Financial Confidence in Uncertain Times;” and John will discuss “The Gift of Relationship.”

Sarah McLean was the founding education director of Deepak Chopra’s Center for Well Being; directed Byron Katie’s School for the Work; and assisted Seat of the Soul author, Gary Zukav.  She has been a two-year resident in a Zen Buddhist monastery; lived in an ashram in India; spent time teaching English to Tibetan Buddhist nuns in Dharmasala; explored the silk route through Pakistan by mountain bike; and trekked the golden triangle in Asia.

After 20 years of working and training in the personal transformation field, Sarah founded the Sedona Meditation Training & Retreat Co., which offers meditation classes, personal retreats, and private instruction at its beautiful Sedona and Scottsdale locations, as well as universities at Miraval Resort and Red Mountain Spa, and various corporate environments.  She has brought meditation into the mainstream and is a sought-after speaker regularly featured on AZ Family’s “Your Life A to Z.”

Jane Elizabeth Smith is a Certified Financial Planner whose business rests on solid ground during these turbulent times because of her connection to God. She has been in the investment business for 20 years; 18 of them owning her own firm. Jane's knowledge and experience in the industry, as well as her intuition, prepared her for the economic downturn we are facing today and her business continues to thrive.

Jane believes there is never a shortfall of substance or prosperity. Therefore, there truly isn't one now. Everyone is experiencing an emotional reaction due to the news media causing many to be frozen in fear. Jane says money is the easiest energy to work with in the spiritual realm.
