Remake of John Wayne movie “Angel and the Badman”

Dec. 29, 2008 - PRLog -- The Production Company Nasser Group North has just completed filming of a remake of the 1947 John Wayne classic “Angel and the Badman”.

The film stars Lou Diamond Phillips, Debra Unger, and Luke Perry; the film also features John Wayne’s Grandson, Brandon Wayne.  

Synopsis
The infamous gunfighter Quirt Evens (Lou Diamond Phillips) has once again found himself in what has become an all to familiar situation. Shot up, alone and with the wolf growling at the door, Quirt finds assistance from one of the most unlikely of places, a group of violence free Quakers.

Go along as this hard man who has lived his life by the cold steel of the gun, works to teach his new Quaker friends, including the beautiful Temperance (Debra Unger) who has caught his eye, to defend themselves. However, in the long run teacher becomes the student when Quirt discovers that it is the tougher man who turns the other check rather to stand and fight.
