Dec. 15, 2008 - PRLog -- Read this endearing account of the tenacity and strength of Aigner’s daughter, Alexa—Aigner’s book is filled with recollections of this brave little girl who inspired everyone around her while understanding her own mortality.

Aigner recalls with compassion how Alexa quite often, during her chemo treatments and her daily struggle with the disease spoke the words, “Okay, Mommy I can do it!”  With bittersweet memories, Aigner’s narration will touch the heart of any who read her story. Alexa’s bright smile and sign of a thumb’s up to her mother was always there—letting her Mom know that everything was okay.  That sign inspired Aigner to write a book for her daughter Alexa to help her understand that she was going to heaven, but that it would be okay.

Skillfully and beautifully rendered, Alexa’s Going to Heaven, is an amazing tribute to Alexa who lived life to the fullest until her death in June of 2008.

You will laugh, cry, and rejoice in the beauty of this deeply personal account of a mother’s love and the strong spirit of her precious girl.  Crys Aigner’s purpose in writing her incredible story is to give comfort to parents and children who may be facing the most difficult thing in life:  the loss of a child  With stunning artwork and beautifully simple narration, Alexa’s Going to Heaven will touch the hearts and souls of parents and help children understand that going to Heaven will be okay.
