CII selects Academy of Broadcasting as Radio partner

Dec. 3, 2008 - PRLog -- Academy of Broadcasting which is India’s leading Radio Jockey training academy has been selected by CII to be their radio partners for the 8th Agro Tech - India’s Premier Biennial Agro Technology Fair organized at Chandigarh. The academy shall be broadcasting radio shows over the local radio station and its students would be hosting the shows, thereby giving them a lot of confidence and experience.  Earlier in 2006, Academy of Broadcasting’s brand Radio Buzz was also selected as the radio partner for CII’s annual Consumer Fair. “It is a big achievement for us all and we are confident that we shall exceed CII’s expectations. Besides this, the event will also give a chance for our students to showcase their talent on the radio shows” remarks Hardeep Singh Chandpuri, the CEO & Founder of the academy. Academy of Broadcasting was set-up in the year 2003, by this internationally renowned Radio Jockey who is also named as the person responsible for revolutionising the radio scene in north India. The medium of radio, which was once considered to be the synonym of boredom for the youngsters, achieved brand new heights with his fresh style of presentation and today it is his name that is associated with the complete ‘makeover’ of the radio scene in the northern region. It provides high quality training in radio and is known for producing the best radio professionals in the region. Here, creativity and commitment are the main priorities.

The main aim of Academy of Broadcasting is to turn exceptional, creative and talented people into hardcore voice professionals, by training them on the latest techniques and technologies, mentoring them with an environment that is conducive to creative learning. It is the only academy that gives a guaranteed chance to its students to go ‘on-air’ on a weekly radio show which is conceptualised, scripted and hosted by it’s students only. Apart from hosting regular shows, the students also get an opportunity to work on various voice-over assignments like IVRS prompts for cell phone companies, spots, jingles, promos for it’s various clients in India and abroad.
