Granite Studios Photography Featured on SunPower Corp’s Website

Dec. 2, 2008 - PRLog -- Sunlight Energy, a Milford, CT SunPower® premier dealer, was recently awarded SunPower’s “Intelegant Award for Excellence” for their solar electric power system installation at a Westport residence. Barry A. Hyman of Westport-based Granite Studios photographed the award winning home.

The photograph is displayed in both the SunPower website’s home page and the accompanying press release. The only angle available to both shoot and properly show the installation was a difficult one that created perspective distortion and showed bare soil. In creating the final picture, Granite Studios employed their expertise in architectural photography and post-processing, transforming the original into one that powerfully showcases the installation.

In June, SunPower, headquartered in Silicon Valley, CA, selected Granite Studios to photograph area solar system installations. A number of residences and commercial sites have already been photographed including Old Saybrook, CT and Purchase, NY. For more than a decade, Granite Studios has photographed for other commercial clients as well as Fairfield County, CT and Westchester County, NY architectural and real estate clients.
