A Magical Christmas in Kota Kinabalu

Dec. 1, 2008 - PRLog -- 1Borneo’s Public Relations Manager, Chris Ho said a major installation of Christmas decorations, made from acrylic and stainless steel, would light up 1Borneo Hypermall and get Kota Kinabalu in the mood for Christmas this year.

“The aim of this year’s decorations is to bring the sparkle and shine to the City, so a whole host of decorations will adorn the hypermall. Ho said the pièce de résistance of the festivity would be the installation of a 40ft high fairytale castle with falling snowflakes at the centre atrium.

“A City’s Christmas decorations are a great way to give it a makeover it needs for the festive season and get us all in the spirit for celebrations with family and friends”, he added.

The decorations offer a good mix of traditional and contemporary Christmas themes and will bring a real festive glow to the hypermall. The intricacies of the castle include more than 2,000 sq ft of crafted polyfoam and yards of rouge velvet while the hypermall will radiate with approximately 30,000 LED lights and 500 shimmering snowflakes, fairies and nymphs.
