Navien America’s Tankless Water Heater Part of the Green Revolution

As the world seeks out ways to protect the planet from global warming, Navien America’s tankless water heater offers an innovative way to save energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Nov. 30, 2008 - PRLog -- The effort to cut greenhouse gas emissions has taken center stage around the world and Navien America Inc. is doing its part to protect the planet by offering an energy-saving tankless water heater.

Tankless heaters use either electricity or natural gas to heat water quickly, as it is needed. Traditional water heaters store a tank full of water and keep it hot at all times. Because a tank of hot water requires continual reheating to maintain a constant temperature, it uses more energy than a tankless heater.

Navien America’s Heating Box is equipped with a sensor that prioritizes the domestic hot water supply by computer monitored control and thermostatic mixing devices, ensuring steady output temperature.  The Heating Box also features a freeze prevention system, pump exercise program, automatic air separator and other safety systems automatically controlled by the computer board.

Its bronze constructed pump and control devices provides smooth and effective delivery of domestic hot water.

The Heating Box saves time, money, and space for builders, contractors and home owners. Navien America’s product has opened up great opportunities for the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and industry with its compact design and plug-and-play approach.  This solution offers convenience to plumbing and heating-related contractors with its simplified design and easy installation process.

The Heating Box was designed and created by Ted Kwak, a pioneer of tankless gas water heater technology and its applications in the North American market. His skilled engineering background and extensive experience in the industry provided the momentum for the innovative and streamlined design of the Heating Box.

Currently there are two models offered: an open-loop system and a closed-loop system. There are many possible applications available for future projects; radiant in-floor heating, radiant baseboard heating, fan-assisted forced air heating, a snow melting system and more.

“We have installed tankless water heaters since 1995. Our tests show they are an excellent product,” says Steve Brown, president of Dallas, Texas-based building firm Carl Franklin Homes.
Navien America was established in March 2006. The North America Headquarter is located in Irvine, California. Navien America is eager to develop new technology and innovative products to make available more environmentally friendly, energy and space saving, and convenient products.
