Nov. 29, 2008 - PRLog -- The Hangen Thompson Gallery located on ‘Via DeMario’ just off Palm Beach’s famous Worth Avenue has opened its doors to showcase the much anticipated exhibition by Crème de la Art on December 5th from 6pm -9pm.

The Exhibition benefits the Children’s Home Society, a non-profit organization established since 1902 that rescues children from battered homes with essentials and emergency shelter care.  The Children are placed in one of CHS' safe havens helps the healing begin for children who have known little peace in their young lives. Some have been physically or sexually abused. Others have been abandoned or mistreated, often by parents with histories of drug and alcohol abuse. Still others come from families unable to keep food on the table and a roof over their heads with running water and electricity.

The Crème de la Art Exhibition features prominent artists Kathryn Carlyle, Cheryl Gibbs, Elisabeth Asti, Cecily Hangen and legendary “Grandma Moses of the Palm Beach” artist Sandra Thompson.  “The exhibition is unique in a sense that it features actual “working artists” from South Florida and the diverse talent we already have right here at home,” said Cecily Hangen, co-owner of Gallery.   Crème De La Art Exhibition diversity ranges from the one of a kind, jewelry art that are hand crafted and richly ornate in the finest gems & stones to the fine art paintings and photography embellished with 24 karat gold and Swarovski crystals.

The tropical Via DeMario leading into the gallery’s scenic courtyard is the most magnificent setting for the festive artist reception amid complimentary wine, refreshments and live music.  Join Crème de la Art on December 5, 2008 from 6pm – 9pm for a night of art, music and charitable giving.
