Nov. 25, 2008 - PRLog -- Asbury Park, NJ: This holiday season, The Asbury Park Boardwalk will be the "it" scene for shopping, festive concerts and brand new restaurants to warm your soul and complete your gift lists. November 28th kicks off the Holiday Bazaar on the boardwalk from the Carousel Market to Convention Hall.


Grab the Whole Family!: Holiday events begin Friday, November 28th at 6PM with a performance by the Asbury Park Rock n Roll Chorus in the Grand Arcade. On Saturday, November 29th, Asbury Park Holiday Brass Band will be performing at 3:00PM in the Grand Arcade, followed by a Roller Derby in Convention Hall at 8:00PM.  The Asbury Park Film Initiative will be screening the classic film, 'White Christmas' at the Paramount Theatre starting at 3PM on Sunday, November 30th. This film series will continue on Sundays throughout the holiday season (movies and times to be announced). On November 30th, come see the brilliance of the holiday lights and music. Tim McLoone & the Shirleys will host a special outside tree lighting and concert beginning at 5:00 PM by The Grand Arcade.


World Class Concerts: The Paramount Theatre will also be hosting concerts all season long including legendary rock icons such as Meat Loaf for his "Casa De Carne" Tour on Friday, December 5th and Ray Davies on Saturday, December 13th. The Wonder Bar will host rockin' bands like John Eddie on December 12th.

In Good Taste: The Asbury Park Boardwalk continues to develop into one of New Jersey's premiere locations as a year round destination.
