Starta Development’s Founder Receives MBA

Nov. 24, 2008 - PRLog -- Starta Development today announced that its founder, Gordon Blackwell, completed his Masters of Business Administration degree from The University of Phoenix. “It has been a juggle to manage family, professional, and school work, but this education has been a tremendous experience,” Blackwell relays. “While I am ready to stop carrying heavy books everywhere, I really enjoy learning and a part of me is going to miss the program. Almost all of my studies were directly relevant to my professional life and extremely valuable for Starta.”

When asked about Blackwell’s future, he responded “First comes family. But, I continue to look forward to Starta’s accelerating growth. Although we launched the company 8 years ago, the demand for technology in this industry has really increased during the past year. In addition, recent economic conditions have unearthed the topic affordable housing as a growing demand. Starta enables developers of apartment funded by tax credits (LIHTC) and bond programs to produce more with less effort. I thoroughly enjoy participating in an enterprise that helps Americans acquire affordable homes for their families. And, I hope my MBA will deliver additional value toward this cause.”
